  1. Bulk Close Status Update/Start Close

    To be able to bulk select clients and update their close status as well as bulk select and start a close period for all from the client view. As of now we are having to go into each client to start a close.

  2. Highlight on clickable field or requested field on Client portal

    The issue is that sometimes the client gets confused about which field they need to update, especially when coding for Sales Receipts. We've received many tickets from the team saying they can't choose the account for a Sales Receipt, but in reality, they need to select the product/service. It would be helpful if you could highlight the clickable field that the client needs to choose. For example, when we ask the client for the account and class, the system should highlight the Account and Class fields for Deposits and Expenses, and highlight the Product/Service field for Sales Receipts.

  3. The ability for clients to split totals between accounts and classes

    Many times, clients require a transaction total to be split across a couple of accounts and classes, and right now can only use comments to indicate that. Having the split option available would make their process more efficient and accurate, and increase their satisfaction with the Portal.

  4. Customizable Client Dashboard

    Add a section on the client Dashboard where you can store additional information about the client for easy access i.e. contact information, business number, due dates, links, notes, etc. that you need to refer to regularly while working on the client.

  5. GL Consistency Review - One Time Ignore for Irregular Transaction

    When Setting Up the Configuration there are times that for a Supplier there is a Irregular Entry Made to a Different Account and you want to leave it that way but still clear it from the GL Consistency Review as it is reviewed. The key is that You also want it to be flagged if any future entries end up in this account. If you had an "Accept Once Time" or "Ignore Irregularity" Button that would be super helpful! It would allow the items to show as reviewed and cleared from the overall list, but at the same time the system would still flag entries here in future months.

  6. Archive Clients

    It would be great to be able to Archive clients that we are no longer engaged with, so that we don't have to pay for them but at the least, all the communications and the To-do's are saved.

  7. Client Request List for Documents/Info.

    Ability to create a list of documents/items needed from the client to complete the bookkeeping/reconciliation and send to the client's portal. This checklist would be good for documents such as bank statements or other various items needed to request on a recurring basis. It would be great if the feature could be in the form of a checklist and as documents are submitted, the item is marked as submitted/completed, on both the client portal and accountant portal. Also, it would be beneficial to have this feature with the option to set to recurring (monthly, quarterly, etc.). Also, once it is received by the accountant the ability to remove it from the portal for accountants who store documents in a different software or on their own servers.

  8. Be able to start close from clients list

    Am I able to start a close from the client list page? Without having to click into the client and start it (which takes a while when having to do it for multiple clients).

  9. Multiple P&L Views

    I'd like to be able to run multiple versions of the P&L and save those views with my review notes. This would eliminate the need to export reports from QBO and make notes on the PDF or Excel version. For example... View #1: P&L by Month View #2: P&L by Class View #3: P&L YTD vs PYTD

  10. Push notifications for the app when client questions are emailed or a way to send notifications through the app.

    It would be beneficial for those clients that use the app to know when a question is posted. Otherwise they just have to think to check the app or see the email. One of our clients prefers to use the app exclusively instead of checking her email.

  11. Automatically start the next close month

    I would love for a feature to turn on that would automatically generate the next month close once it is the 1st of the month regardless if the previous month close was completed. I.e. a client is set up to close monthly and when it is March 1st have Xenett automatically populate the February close so that they don't have to be started manually within the client each month. Or if they are set up quarterly, once the 1st of the month of the following quarter comes have the previous quarter close automatically populate.

  12. Pause Time Clock

    Need the ability to pause the time clock. We can only stop and start. Want to be able to pause, if walk away and when return pick up/ restart clock if the task is not completed.

  13. month-end closes that are not at the standard month-end

    I have a client that is on 4-4-5 month-end. They end the month always on a standard and it most likely than not is not on the month-end. We need the ability to update the month-end to these non-standard dates

  14. having the ability to turn comments into To-Do items for tracking

    When making a comment or responding to a comment having the ability to change it to a to-do item for the ability to track time and make additional notes would be awesome

  15. Allow Client to Assign Users to Specific Questions/Transactional Questions

    It would be beneficial for clients to have the option to assign certain questions/transactional questions to individuals within their company (that have Xenett access) who can resolve the question and update transactional questions. Sometimes there are certain individuals within a company that handle specific tasks and it will make it easier for our clients to delegate some of the work to the appropriate individual.
