  1. Bulk Apply & Resolve

When in the Client (Responded) Transactional Questions within the portal, if going to change the Name or Account, you can't apply and resolve. For example, we put some transactions to Waiting on Client so that we can ask things like "What is the purpose of this transaction," or "What is the name of this vendor/client"? Let's say I grab multiple to change the account to personal, and then just press resolve, it'll all go back to uncategorized entries in the project. Being able to "apply & resolve" would be extremely helpful and time saving. Also it would be super helpful to be able to bulk grab transactions from one button, not individually clicking each one like we do now. As stated we use the same type question for most transactions to keep it similar and not confusing for us or the client, but that groups our transactions depending on what question were asked (screenshot attached). With that being said, there's only a single bulk grab option (right next to Date/Type), but that selects every single transaction, no matter the question group. Often a certain group of questions will all be categorized to the same account, so being able to select per group would be nice.

  2. Highlight on clickable field or requested field on Client portal

The issue is that sometimes the client gets confused about which field they need to update, especially when coding for Sales Receipts. We've received many tickets from the team saying they can't choose the account for a Sales Receipt, but in reality, they need to select the product/service. It would be helpful if you could highlight the clickable field that the client needs to choose. For example, when we ask the client for the account and class, the system should highlight the Account and Class fields for Deposits and Expenses, and highlight the Product/Service field for Sales Receipts.

  3. The ability to add client's note to the transaction memo in bulk

At present, the client's comments can be added to the transaction memo directly in QuickBooks individually but the option to add them in bulk will be great.

  4. Archive Clients

It would be great to be able to Archive clients that we are no longer engaged with, so that we don't have to pay for them but at the least, all the communications and the To-do's are saved.

  6. Make it more obvious that there is a file, question or comment related to a task.

Currently when a file, question or comment is added to a task, a very small red dot appears. It's so small that it's easy to miss. Perhaps the whole icon should change color. You may also want to add a number next to the icon indicating the number of files, questions or comments there are.

  7. Deferred Revenue Review Point

Similar to the just released prepaid expense module, the ability to auto defer and recognize revenue by utilizing the "For the period" or "From - To" language in the line description. Useful for any business that receives payment in advance of obligation satisfaction.

  10. The ability for an admin or manager to be able to see our staff accountant's open tasks and projects on their dashboard.

As a way to keep track of how monthly projects and tasks are progressing, it would be helpful for admins or managers to be able to see their staff accountant's open projects and tasks. Currently it seems that we have to navigate into each client to be able to check on the status of a project, however, this seems a little clunky to have to do this. Having the projects and or tasks on the dashboard would allow for the manager / admin to be able to quickly reference the project and spot check if necessary without having to navigate to the client project or task.

  12. Receipt Management

Anyone who manages receipts for clients would benefit rather than having to use hubdoc or a similar service. If the clients could easily upload them into their portal, they could be stored in a receipt folder where we could add tags to them and attach them to a corresponding expense.

  13. Calendar View for To-Do Items

In addition to the list, we'd like to be able to view a calendar view of the items and maybe able to drag them to different days right from there. Is that something Xenett could do?

  14. The ability for clients to split totals between accounts and classes

Many times, clients require a transaction total to be split across a couple of accounts and classes, and right now can only use comments to indicate that. Having the split option available would make their process more efficient and accurate, and increase their satisfaction with the Portal.

  15. GL Consistency Review - One Time Ignore for Irregular Transaction

When Setting Up the Configuration there are times that for a Supplier there is a Irregular Entry Made to a Different Account and you want to leave it that way but still clear it from the GL Consistency Review as it is reviewed. The key is that You also want it to be flagged if any future entries end up in this account. If you had an "Accept Once Time" or "Ignore Irregularity" Button that would be super helpful! It would allow the items to show as reviewed and cleared from the overall list, but at the same time the system would still flag entries here in future months.
